I have only recently bought a new era model WRX, the tyres on the front are nearly worn out after 7k, it has Brigestone Potenza tyres, I dont drive it that hard, is this typical, anyone know of a tyre which will give me better wear

 

Check the pressures(should be about 32-34) and then Get the Geometry and tracking checked by the dealer. The Evo long term test car wore out a set of tyres in about the same period of time.

They had the geometry etc checked and corrected by Powerstation and got over 13000 miles from the next set.

 

Swap rear and front tyres.

 

I got 15k out of my fronts without swapping and the rears still had some tread.

My pressures were 32/30
