Question

Friend of mine has fitted some 4 pots (hi-spec) with big disks to the front of his 94 turbo.
Trouble is, ABS now seems to kick in way too early.
He tried it with the ABS disabled, but rears lock up.

Any ideas, similar experiences?

Cheers
Russ

The car has lost its brake balance.

Read the rear brakes thread.

A good idea would probably be to fit a bigger master cylinder as well.

Also check if your ABS is adjustable, they can often be set more or less sensitive and are quite sensitive from the factory (for the average driver)

I personally took my ABS out of the car completely. Try the car with it disconnected if you like...
