I have experienced problems with the ABS brakes on my MY01 WRX. Moderate braking on uneven road surfaces often causes the ABS to kick in causing reduced braking and putting my heart in my mouth.
There is no way I'm going that fast that reduced load on the wheel by suspension movement would cause the ABS to kick in. I have owned several cars with ABS and have travelled this section of road every day and have never noticed this before. Just wondered if anyone alse has experienced problems.

mine used to do this until i got a faulty rear shock replaced,now it dont do it at all,strange eh!

Ive experienced the same problem on my MY01 too. I started a similar thread a few months ago and lots of people said they had it as well.
I think it is just sensitive and Im not aware of any way round it other than not braking when the surface is uneven!

YEP ME TOO,
