I have the AP 4 Pot kit for my WRX, with the Mintex 1144 pads, and slotted rotors. Is a moderate abrasive metallic sound while rolling at slow speeds normal, with the feet off all the pedals? Once the gas or brake is depressed slightly, the sound disappears. This always occurs in traffic, and was wondering if its normal?
Thanks!

They shouldn't make any sound. Check they are shimmed correctly.

The bracket is designed so that the caliper sits too far outbourd. The kit comes with shims and you use these to get the caliper central over the disc.

Its a pain to do as it involves lots of fitting, measuring, removing, repeating.

Hold the disc tight with wheel nuts when doing it.
