Im running a Brembo 4pot 28mm by 305mm set up just now and the discs and pads are pretty shot, im thinking of getting Mintex 1144/55 pads but i also want some good discs (either Brembo or AP) but both are horrendious in cost (over 200 quid per disc! ) and am in need of advice.
Id love to stick with either the AP or Brembo discs as the stopping power is fantastic from higher speeds but i dont see why i should spend over 500 quid (even though i do like the best brakes i can get) when i can upgrade to a 335mm bigger brake kit for the same money (disc's, pads and spacers for the calipers)
I run 17 inch wheels on my MY00 so 335mm would fit but i dont really need that sort of stopping power (or do i? )

Just bought my 2nd set of TSL Group N discs and Ferodo DS2500 Pads
The first set last me about 22000 miles and are still good enough for me to change to when on track days!
