Help me ID these alloys

Default Help me ID these alloys

Hi all

Any chance someone out there knows what these rims are? I can't find any signage on them, and the recessed section with the STI in it has prevented a few matches I've found.

They're on my recently acquired GC8 and I'm not sure if they're worth keeping or not. Not that they're offensive to the eye or anything, but they're the wrong colour (closer to brass or bronze than gold) and the tyres on them need replacing.

So I'm considering going down to 16 inch wheels for the comfort and period-correct look, but really unsure. Please help me decide!

BK Racing..possibly BK238..were quite popular late 90s iirc..

The original wheel will that its based on is the Yokohama AVS Model 7 wheel, iconic early 2000s wheel design that was badly replicated by a number of companies sadly. Given the fairly narrow spoke design I wouldn't trust some knock off replica, the real deal come up for sale now and again though.

Have a look on the inside of the barrel it will probably have some sticker showing the maker details, or on the back of the spokes. The "Model 7" plaque sometimes did come off, or was forgotten about when wheels were refurbed. Original colours are shown below.
