Stained gold alloys
#1
I have 17" gold Technomagneiso alloys which look remarkably similar to those available from Prodrive.
When I bought my car in September last year, they were in perfect condition.
Sadly I've done a bit of kerbing damage whilst parking, but more worrying is the staining and discolouration which appears to be getting rapidly worse.
I clean my wheels every week to get rid of the brake dust and simply use normal car shampoo, which surely can't be doing them any damage???
Is this a common problem with gold alloys or is it a sign that mine are cheapos that probably need dumping???

mine are the same in places due to crappy alloy wheel cleaner i think, a refurb may be in need at some time and i have seen other gold wheels like that so it may be a gold wheel thing
