Sorry, was bust at work.
Yes I used 225-40-18s on one set of my FSTI wheels. It will put the speedo out every so slightly so it over reads (shows more than you are doing) but it's by such a small amount it makes little to no difference at all.
Positives: Much improved control in my opinion, felt better on the road and steering was sharper, less roll.
Negatives: Arch gaps look bigger, possibly more bumpy (but to be honest very little in it), speedo scale.
Positives massively outweighed the negatives, drove loads better in my opinion and tyres are WAY cheaper.

Cheers for info that's made my mind up will go with that size.
reason for asking is I will be fitting 18x7.5 et38 work wheels which will fit over brembo's
