Wheel size and offset for classic with ABW arches?

What have people used on theirs? Track car, semi slicks. Don't want any catching on lock so an 8 or 8.5 is fine by me unless a 9 will fit.

Not mine. Was on coilovers. Now on, road-friendly, inverted struts + P11L springs. 8.25 x 17 et25 with 20mm spacers. 235/45 tyres.
