Rear brake upgrade on a classic
Hi all, a moment of your time and wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
I've just upgraded my rear brakes on my 95 classic to twin pots. The set I fitted was second hand but great condition pistons all free.
All went well fitted and bled fine. Have a good pedal and the car stops great but what I've noticed is the rear discs that had slight usual surfice rust does not clear like it does on the front discs (I don't get to use the car much). It's like the fronts bite harder than the rears. I was going backwards and forwards testing in the car park and the front discs get very hot where as the backs get warm / hot. Is this normal and the brakes work like 60/40 percent? Thanks
