Default SPacers for prodrive wheels

Hi guys

I have fitted brembo fronts to my wrx uk 300 today.

The wheels wont go out without hitting the caliper, so I have bolted on some 5mm spacers that I had, problem now is there is only 5-8mm ish of thread going into the nut.

I have 2 options that I can think of:

1 remove the disks, hub and buy and fit longer studs.

2 fit hubcentric spacers of around 10-15mm

If I go option 2, which I think I rather would as its a lot easier and faster, then where can I get some decent quality 10 12 or 15mm spacers??

If I put them on the front, should I put them on the back 2 to keep the wheel width the same if that makes sense?

Any help appreciated! Want to get something ordered tomorrow!!

You'll still need longer studs ring Alyn at AS Performance he has all you need.

ahh siht the bed really? I thought the hubcentric spacers basically bolted on using ur existing studs but then had 5 new studs on them to bolt your wheels too :/

I have been told when fitting longer studs I will prob have to fit new bearings too?

The hub centric ones will bolt straight on no bother but I forget the narrowest ones that are available you only need 7mm if yours are ET53 and if you go much wider you stand the chance of buffing the arches. What car have you.

Hub centric Wheel spacers are a **** option.

Best bet is remove the brembos and fit the other brakes back on until it can be sorted properly.....

agreed, ive seen hubcentric bolt ons fail, and not cheap ones either,

change wheels or longer studs, this does put more stress on the bearing though,
