Default Front mount intercooler question

Hi I've bought a bugeye wrx a couple of weeks ago and with it came a front mount intercooler kit, I'm going to fit this over the weekend, I've got 2 questions
1: where do I fit the blow off valve? The one on at the moment is bolted to the top mount intercooler, do I have to buy a new one with a different fitting or use the one I've got, or do I not need to fit one
2: bit in photo was also in the box, what is it? Can anyone tell me what it is and where to fit, if it's needed

Thanks in advance for any help

Header overflow tank ,, replaces the standard one to allow more room for the pipe work ,, the dump valve will be a different fitting , should be a small outlet on the pipe that goes to the throttle body for it, you can buy a adapter that will allow it to be fitted or buy a new one made for a FMIC

I think AS Performance sell Harvey's (RIP) stock of OEM DV adaptors.

But first, take a photo of your IC kit's pipework to see what's what re. any kind of port for DV...

Have a look at the last reply here: https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...ump-valve.html
Shows Dv fitted witrh adaptor. I've bought mine from ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25mm-Dump-...kAAOxygj5Sjib9
Just had to fit custom silicone pipe as the adapter outlet is smaller than stock pipe diameter, but it was just extra fiver
