Default Any tips on how to remove bell from rotor?

I'm fitting new front discs, they are 2 piece but I'm having a nightmare trying to split them.
I have managed to get all the bolts out with no real drama but now they're being stubborn!!
As you can see from the pic,I have reversed the disc and put it back onto the hub hoping to give the rotor a good hit with the hammer,I've been smacking it for 10mins and it's not moving at all.
Is it just a case of keep hitting it and it will come off or has anyone any tips/advice on how to remove the bell from the rotor.

Cheers
Rich

I was gonna say make sure the hub face and inner bell are squeaky clean to avoid having to take them off again because of vibration

Nice one,I did read a good few threads on vibration problems due to unclean hubs so going to make sure everything is nice and clean

I did have to use the car for 2 journeys to work(60 miles) with the new pads on them old discs(The new rotors took a week to be made),I had to fit the new pads as when I took it apart one of the pads fell apart.
I did try and keep off the brakes as much as I could but when I did have to use them the vibration was very very bad
Do you think it's worth sanding the pads flat now or will the bedding in process sort them out?

A fair bit of rust has clung to the mating surface of the bells, not just where it sits on the hub but where it sits on the rotor.
I guess it wasn't just the engine that wasn't looked after on this car!

Slowly getting things sorted tho

Stress nearly got the better of me and if I'd have had a big enough rizzla then the big green bud would have been gone

Yes I'd flatten the pads out a bit before putting them back in and break them in with the discs over a couple of hundred miles, I did mine a while ago and after I'd cleaned the hub face up I gave i a light coat of copperslick...not sure if it's the done thing but it wasn't a lot, I've had no problems and it's all working well.

Too late to say it but always use new bolts with new discs lol.
