17inch 9j 42 to fit a classic Impreza?

As title, set of alloy wheels 17inch 9j 42 offset, would they fit on a classic Impreza and clear struts?

The 42 offset will be very very close to the strut I do not think they will fit. I have went to a ET30 9J rim with a 245 tyre to get decent clearance between strut and tyre.
