Default Tyres for newage wheels on classic

Hi all exactly as the title

The standard ones rub so do i get 215 45 17 (more choice)

Or

215 40 17 (less choice and expensive)

Will the 45s still rub?

She is a track car so thinking toyo or yoko or what can people recommend?

Only just scrubs currently but actually gonna raise suspension a bit in aid of handling at same time

Please let me know your tboughts!

Track car not so important, but for correct speedo, use 215/40 x17".

Not sure WRX/STi are different widths, offset might be slightly different, but spoke design clears Brembos at the front on the STi, which WRX wheels will not.

Yes my speedo is around 5mph out(reading slower than I'm going) with 205/45/17
Has 2 pot rear brembo and 6 pot SC fronts and the clear fine, had the 6 speed conversion but not sure if that make a difference?

play with asn online rolling radius calculator until you get the nearest R/R with the changed profile
