My Bridgestone SO2's appear to be scrubbing on the edge, usually after a fast drive, but after 10K miles, the wear is the same across the tyre.

After a run on the motorway the outer edges show an even wear, with no scrubbing, so I gues this is a normal.

My tyres show wear on the inside. Kwik Fit said this is because my car had been lowered and this was causing a slight bowing causing the tyres to run on the inside more that the ouside.

Question

Hi All, your advice would be greatly appreciated

Garage #1 supplied and fitted four new 204/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sports. The tracking was supposed to be done at the time of fitting however within 150 miles i was getting extensive wear on the outside of the front two tyres.

Went back to the garage #1 who said the camber needs sorting, end of story.

Went to garage #2 who said the tracking is out - they showed me on their machines - clearly out so i had the tracking done.
Also the front and rear tyres were swapped around.

However, the fronts again look like they are wearing strange. I returned to garage #2 who said that this is normal wear and is particular to Michelin tyres and that i should come back next week for a free tracking check and not too worry.

From a driver view point, the car goes straight as a die and there is no wobble in the steering wheel.

Being totally non mechanical i am at the mercy of these garages and just want to know that the tyre wearing shown above is normal and that there is no problem with tracking or camber or ???

thanks for your time
Scott
