05 STi PPP rear pads question.

Mate at work was buying new rear pads for his car when the supplier asked if his car was a PPP! According to the supplier, the PPP cars have different rear pads. Is this really true? Surely the PPP cars employ the same rear callipers?

No its not true , they all have the same gold 2 pot Brembo's fitted , the supplier is wrong
