Default Best pads for Hatch Brembos?

I currently have the standard black sti brembos on my hatch. Running godspeed discs and kevlar pads all around along with braided hoses and motul rbf600 fluid.

The cars been rebuilt and aiming for 400-450bhp.

Im in need of a good pad to try before thinking of upgrading to aps or something?

Any good ideas people?

A very good pad that would cope quite easily , and very well priced are the CL RC5+'s , these have very good cold and hot bite , much better for hard use compared to our kevlar pads.
Only downside is they can be squealy at low speeds , there are plenty of other pads that give very good performance , but prices rise

The RC5+ pads are only £135 a set for the fronts

Cheers Ian

Seems to be many pads to choose from.

Ill be tracking it possibly couple of times a year the rest just normal road use..

What do you think of the Tarox pads? I had them on my classic 4 pots along with the discs they were geat!

not a fan of the Tarox materials as they tend to be a little behind feel/bite wise

a good initial step is the PFC Z-rated which will cope with fast road and put up with track temps to boot and wont cost much more than the CL's mentioned above except you will have a full car set..........

if you want a more capable pad that is refined then the more track biased PFC & Pagid would be my choice personally but you do pay for the privelege

Been using PF Z rated pads on the road car for years and also on the race RA, need something more aggressive now for the RA now so will be seeking Alyn advice on options, but the road car will stay on the PF Z rated pads they are in my opinion the best all round pad available at the minute.

Alyn is a PF registered dealer and can also advise on some of the Pagid options out there. Had a brief chat with Alyn and probably going with some Pagid pads on the RA
