Stiff wheel problem!?
Hi
The issue I am having is that when I tighten the wheel nuts on one of the rear wheels (to the recommended torque setting). The whole becomes very stiff (nearly unturnable) and simply loosening the nuts allows the wheel to spin freely again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a 04 WRX, btw.
Thanks

Solved my own issue:

The lip on the disc was being pressed against the dust shield as I tightened the nuts, causing a clamping affect. I was also experiencing a grinding noise at slow speeds when turning left. Follow link provided above for solutions.
