Default Time for new pads/discs/caliper refurb

Hi my brakes needs some TLC i currenyly have some AP RACING CP6000 4 pots with EBC yellow stuff and some custom made 2 piece 330mm discs i got from Godspeed. Im just trying to price it all up and see what to go for. From what i have read before i can only replace the godspeed discs and bells together as they are made to only work with each other. I also need to get the calipers rebuilt as the wear plates are gripping the pads now and they are not moving freely, so ill need to split them apart to get to them properly Its not the easiest to get the parts to rebuild the AP calipers and again the custom discs limit your option there too.

What are the pads to go for these days for a daily driver with some fast road use? Im wondering would it be better to switch to Brembos or are the AP's i have better? I have had the car on track twice but probably wont do it anymore as the track over here is a pig on brakes and tyres! So Just looking for something reliable for fast road use that wont break the bank!

Hi
To clear any confusion , you don't need to change the bells , you reuse these again , you only need to change the rotor , yes these are only available from us because we make them with a wider pad area to all other 330mm discs as the CP 6600 caliper uses a wide pad , more pad on the disc giver more braking power and less heat build up.

Parts for the caliper are readily available , and is a fairly simple job to remove the pad plates with the right tools , you might get them out without stripping the calipers , we do.

A pair of rotors with a set of nuts and bolts are £295 a pair plus shipping , we can even sort your calipers , from just stripping , cleaning , and rebuilding them including removing the pad plates and cleaning the muck / corrosion off and refitting them , to a full on recondition and powder coating them any colour.

Tbh the 6600 caliper is about as reliable as you can get , the Brembos even have issues with pad plates , you've had them quite some time now
Cheers Ian

Thanks for the clarification Ian, Ill defintely take a pair of the discs so that price would be hard to beat at that price! For the caliper clean up with a new seal kit and powder coated, how much are we looking at per caliper? Last time i checked the pistons are fine, but i couldnt get the little allen key bolts out without rounding the head on them, hence hey i thought i need to split them to clean up the wear plates properly. What pads can you supply for these? Are the Ferrodo ds2500 still a good choice? I would like to get he parts i need ordered up this week. Whats the current turn around from when you receive a set to get them refurbished and sent back to Ireland? SInce this is my daily driver i need to keep downtime to a minimum!
