Can rear arches be rolled on hawkeye sti?
Just purchased a set of 18x9 et35 wheels on 235/40 tyres.
Problem is the sidewalls are catching on the wheel arch. Took it to a body shop to get the arches rolled but they said there's not enough lip there to work with.
Under inspection, on the hawkeye widetrack rear, there is only about a 2-3mm lip that could be rolled. Can this be done for some much needed extra clearance? Was thinking of buying on of those arch rollers and having a go myself.
Cheers

18 x 9 ET35 is hardly stance **** is it?
A little suggestion Id planned myself when I get 18s, was to actually cut the little lip off. However you'll then need to re-weld the inner & outer panel of the rear quarter back together. Wouldnt need to be mega neat, as you have the rear arch trim.
But I'm speaking from plans, not experience.
Another idea would be to dial in a little negative camber on the rear.
