WRX 'makeshift' brake cooling?
I've been driving on my local track, Snetterton. which happens to have some fairly big stops.
I'm running on Standard discs and callipers at the moment and they're getting hot (see photographic evidence below). I know that it's pretty well known that WRX discs are too small from high grip, high speed track work and the plan is to upgrade once I sort a wheel set that'll clear something bigger.
I'm running CL RC5+ pads and they're coping remarkably well with the heat, just a bit of material transfer going on that's leading to judder.
I'm on a budget and I'd like to get a few days out of the existing setup. Other than the juddering, it's braking OK.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with some quick tricks to get rid of some heat. At the moment, I'm thinking of taking the guards off of the hub, removing the fog lamps (bugeye) and ducting some air into the wheel well (not directly on to the disc, I can't see a decent route to it without major surgery).

Hi Konan,
It looks like there's some time between the stops to get some heat off.
I think the standard passive rooducts will help you a lot.
Getting new cool air into the wheel rim and around the calipers does wonders.

Hi Randy,
Your product looks interesting, since I guess it'd still be of use after a big brake upgrade too.
Any idea on total costs to get in to the UK would be?
