hi everyone, just a question about which brake fluid would be better to use on my subaru impreza 1999 turbo basically i have 4 pot calipers on the front with godspeed grooved discs and Kevlar pads and will be converting the rears to 2 pot calipers with same godspeed grooved discs and Kevlar pads soon with goodridge braided hoses and was wondering if Motul RBF 600 or Motul DOT 5.1 would be best suited for my car as i'll be flushing the whole brake system out and putting brand new fluid in.
Also how many litres will i need to change the full brake system??
My car has ABS and well i don't use it for track days maybe the odd bit of fast road and drag strips if this info helps at all?

generally speaking for your use the Motul dot5.1 will be fine, the RBF is aimed more at track type use / temps but will certainly still work fine on road cars........

thanks for the reply mate i think I'll go for the Motul DOT 5.1 when i sort out everything i need, and do you also know how much brake fluid i will need to do a full brake fluid change???

 

I use and not just on my impreza, ate bluestuff from euro car parts. Cheap and does the job. Iirc about a litre and half

 

I am doing a brake fluid change and have bought 3x500ml motul 5.1 if that helps
