Tried to cycle ABS, but ABS light won't go on with ignition
Hi,
I tried to cycle the ABS because I cannot bleed my brakes, my pedal feels spongy and goes almost to the bottom floor. There must be air somewhere and I suspect the ABS.
I followed this procedure:
You can also command SequenceControl
without the Select Monitor. To do this,
with the ignitionswitch “Off,” ground terminals
3 and 6 of the diagnosis connector,
using the connector’s grounding wires.
Turn the ignition switch “On” and, within a
half second after the ABS warning light
goes off, press the brake pedal and hold
it. The ABS will go into Sequence Control
and purge air from the HCU.
My Problem is that the light doesn't go on at ignition Switch.
I tried to press the brake pedal immediatly after the ignition, but nothing helps.
I am 100% sure I took the correct grounding wires and connector under the dash.
Thanks for helping me out.
Kind regards,
Ben
