Slicks or not? Getting plans made for next years racing..
I'm currently building my car to compete in drag racing next year.
I was gong I retain my 18's and get some AD08 tyres or similar. But today I thought about removing the brembos and going back to my 4 pots, they are much lighter and fit behind the 16's I have, and go for some slicks?
But.. Do slicks only perform well when hot, I.e after a burn out?
Being 4WD I can't exactly sit there lighting the wheels up before running, so I'm concerned that the slicks might perform poorly if cold.
The car will hopefully be running between 550-600.
Any thoughts on what direction to go guys?
