Default Brake Upgrade and Caliper Refurb

I'm looking at upgrading the brakes on my MY05 Spec C Type RA.

I want the Brembo calipers (both front and back) refurbed and resprayed Red, potentially new disks front and back along with new pads. Car is never tracked but would like a good setup for spirited road driving.

Any upgrades have to fit under 17" wheels.

What are the best options? Oh and I'm not a car tecky person at all... so in lay mans terms please

Cheers
Jay

Do you mean you want the calipers that come on STi's as standard, but red?

Why don't you get them? and what do you have at the minute?

I want them painting / power coating red ... but I want it doing professionally rather than me reaching for the nail varnish.

Cheers for the heads up on Godspeed.

There are plenty of companies that can powder coat or paint your brakes. A lot of body shops would be happy to do it for you!

Keep the calipers, Get them refurbished, by a pro, Godspeed is a regular contributor to this forum and has helped many people. He is also fair.

Get upgraded discs and pads. Better disc, maybe with a hat and thicker.

Pads, you have a huge list of options.

BTW on the road, if you want to make your car stop in a shorter distance.

get better tires (r comp)
get a good coilover kit.
