Default wheel advice

hi there, ivw seen a set of wheels which are 17 inch, et35, and 9j. would these fit my classic subaru running standard sti 4 pots without issues? cheers

At that width I'd expect them to stick out of the arches!

These, fitted to my old classic, are 7x17 et35, pretty much as wide as you can be without adding arch extensions/flaring

I'd say so. Newages can take 9s but they have much more arch to play with.

I was toying with going wider on that car and worked out I could squeeze 8s on with a stretched tyre but that was pushing it tbh! I decided not to in the end.

Whats the max et and j size I can go ? Im thinking of getting some inovite st6 alloys in 17inch as they look exactly like the standard 16inch r.a wheels. 215/45/17 ? Et ??? 7.5j ?

I'd be sticking to et40-45 if it were me. I certainly wouldn't go below et35 at the very most.

The OP's sorry! Looking for decent width 17s as I dont want 18s on my car but need a larger tyre

Got some genuine rays 6 spoke,fordged, 17 inch et35 and 9j. 5x100 so will fit your car perfect. £600 cash on collection and theyre yours.
