Default Caliper repair or replace

HI all.
Iv noticed I'm getting uneven wear on the pads on my rear drivers side calliper (which is where I think the handbrake Mech is) has anyone had this? Car is a 53 blob.
I was going to strip it back clean it and change the seals. Can any one advise if this is the right place to start or should I just be changing the calliper? Hoping it's only a piston that needs some TLC.
Does the handbrake mech interfere with the calliper so could be the cause?

Handbrake is internal, inside a drum, on both sides. Has no effect on the calipers, separate system.
I'd certainly have the pistons out and clean them up, new seals etc.

You could invest in stainless pistons from Godspeed, it won't happen again then.

What do you mean by uneven wear??

I had similar issues with my old classic rear brakes. Replaced the discs and pads for decent ones and all was good again!!

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
I didn't realise you could got spare pistons, will look into them. Iv seen a new seal and grease set 38mm which I think is right is about £28
Sorry didn't explain very well, what I meant by uneven where was that the two pads were wearing at different rates inside the rear drivers side calliper.

That's a tad expensive for seals etc. Just bite the bullet and get these. Job done!

P.S soak the calliper bolts a couple of hours before you start, they can be a bit off a pain.

They are for the front brakes not the rears.

Ring them up to order the rears , took me about an hour to rebuild both sides with the godspeed kit, worked really well.

Heres some pics
