xxr's nearly new with nearly new tyres
To be fair, I'm normally one to always avoid cheapie tyres. However these look like the same ones that were on my '10 hatchback when I got it (n/a so admittedly low power by subaru standards!). I'd never heard of the brand before so was very dubious..
D'you know what? They've been ok! in the dry, in the rain, and a few days ago even in the snow. I put that down to them being almost new so having plenty of tread, but even so, I was surprised at how well they performed.
The internet didn't have much to say about them, I'd certainly never have bought them myself, but they've done nothing to make me want to change them so far. I suspect on a turbo car being spiritedly driven it might be a different story. Round here the roads are too narrow and twisty for silly speeds anyway [plus, the motorbike is for hooning, the scooby is for keeping the rain off] ;-)
Cheers.
