Question Help with my exhaust.

I have a MY00 Turbo 2000 that I've had for nearly 2 years now.
It came fitted with an after market exhaust which tbh is getting on my nerves.. I drive to Harrogate and back 5 times a week so the noise is getting a little too much now.
I wanting to change it all back to standard, It looks like i need the mid section and back box.
Anyone got any of these lying around in there garage from a past upgrade?
I'm willing to pick them up anywhere in Yorkshire.
Also wondering if it's a simple DIY job.... are there any parts I should replace while doing the swap?

Oh and I have no idea what exhaust is fitted at the moment....
I'm just after ideas on making my scoob quieter for the long journey's.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I don't have any parts unfortunately but, in terms of noise level, I have a Prodrive exhaust system on my car and find it just right. Quiet when cruising but nice when you give it the beans. It is a hatch so not sure if it'd be comparable to yours (the standard system was really too quiet). There are some Prodrive parts for your model year on ebay though.

Fitment is just a swap out for mid-section & back box as far as I am aware.

Sorry can't be more help.

Thank for the reply mate...
I was wondering what the Prodrive parts were like, and I'll keep looking in on Ebay.
But a lot of sellers are wanting pick up only due to the costs of delivery.
Thanks for your help tho.

I've got a newage Wrx exhaust. Pretty much brand new as it was removed by prodrive at 4 weeks old. £50 quid if it's any good to you
