Default Local suppliers of Methanol?

anyone know any?

dont mind paying the bit extra , it's just i cant really store it, so buying in 2/5 litres would be easier.

anyone know of any places? nitro shops or the like that sell it or may sell it?

ideally leeds/bradford side as thats where i am normally

cheers

These guys on eBay are about the cheapest i've seen so far and i've purchased from these before.

205Ltrs in a large drum for £88.00. Del is £42.50 or you can pick up yourself if you have a van.

£130.50 inc del = around 63.5ppl that's cheap!!

I'm pretty sure if you contact them they'll sell you a 25ltr drum. No point just buying 5ltres here and there because you will soon get through that amount.

If on a 60ltr newage fuel tank you put in 6ltrs Methanol as a 10% mix per tank full you'll pretty much get through your 25ltrs in in a fraction over 4 fillups.

Once you start using Methanol as an Octane booster you won't want to use anything else. The only problem is carrying enough of the stuff with you if you go on a trip and are away a few days in which case you'd need a few bottles of NF Race Octane booster instead to have a similar effect.

Using Methanol though ends up being much cheaper than buying many bottles of NF Race in the long term.

Hi Guys, I just want regenerate this thread:

Im not that far from Eggy, and I too would also like to find a local source for 25L's due to storage reasons.

Obviously the eBay links above are now dead, but here is what I was looking at being the ones that offer delivery, or are local.

Based in Manchester
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Methanol-Methy...item20ab6d7294

North Ayrshire, Delivery seems reasonable
http://www.bonnymans.co.uk/products/...merDetails.php

Then theres the other obvious ones as mentioned, but as with Jennychem you really need to be buying a 205L drum to make it worth while.

Edit:
Just to add, I have just bought 25L from here for £29 delivered http://www.bonnymans.co.uk/products/...ts/success.php OK I know this isnt cheap compared with 205L offers, but for a tad over £1.00 per Litre its a start until I find space in my garage to house a drum

Do a search on here mate, im on quite a few of the threads asking the same thing..

But in a nutshell
  1. More Power
  2. Cheaper than Vpower
  3. Appears to cause no or little damage if used correctly
  4. Direct petrol tank fill up, circ 10% - 20% with the required mappng
