Just wondered if any of you guys will be attending this event at Elvington this Sunday? Sounds a lot like Scooby Sprint but must admit it's the first time I have heard about it.

Had car mapped,
Just setting flat shifting and launch control.
going through tests, Jammed in 1st,

Mr RAC brought me home, took car to garage for me.

Got car back Yesterday,
Give it a good hard run,
Not done a hard start yet,
But been going thru the gears getting used to the flat shifting.

Cleaned car today, so just about ready.

Arf its a shame your not going on Sunday, It would be good to see how 250 BHP compared against 600+ BHP

Bez Im going to miss this round due to work and I have a possible buyer of the car coming to have a look at it on Sunday and if he does I have my eye on a very nice prodrive prepared classic shell to build up.Have a good one mate and I will see you at the next round.

 

i would have loved to have come too mate,just finally got a car that runs and i'm busy this weekend.as dunx says i think the size of my turbo will not be very suited for the small tight tracks,but if i can make the next one i will be entering anyway to see how she fairs.good luck bez.

I tried and tried to match Spens time, when I did, he then went and smashed 2 seconds off it in the shootout round, excellent driving, and on same tyres all day, understeer hell, especially that last corner.

 

Twas a shame Bez had trouble with the gearbox, again....

Well done to all the competitors, very entertaining.

And good to see a fair turn out.

Was a very enjoyable day, once Id ditched my 5hitarsed road tyres I started to get some grip and get the times down.

Was Bez the lad with the new gearbox that was jammed up?

 

who won? gutted I couldnt go but pennies need spending elswere at the moment

 

Spen won again in the Evo with last run I believe, 46 secs, two scoobs had gone out in the shootout and done very quick 47's..

 

Yes Bez is one with the jammed gearbox.
