Anyway been told by to many people( Andrew and Bez) that i need to sort the scooby out so i'd best get me **** in gear....

 

well you best get on with it then dude think it'll be done for the next one ??

Very happy with the car, there was no one ran away with it all changing places all day.

Had a cracking day yesterday, it's a shame i had to leave early but at least i got to see what it's all about. Trying to sort time off work for next one now.

The scoob won't be ready for a few months just taking the manifold off to do the tumble delete and fit the bigger injectors. I might as well fit the the bigger turbo whilst it's in bits.

Results for anyone interested, couldn't run in the shootout at the end as I was only car in class lol, good times by the North bro's...Paul and Rob too in fwd.

Bez, thanks mate, lot of work gone into it, me driving doesn't do it justice at all..

I was near the limiter in 2nd on 90% of the track, should have short shifted a little into 3rd for some more power I think, inexperience I suppose

I counted 3 - 1st gear corners to counter the lag and keep it on boost, but enjoyed the track layout so much, a nice little quick spooler is best I reckon there.

Looking forward to 20th June, il be up again as really enjoyed it, good to meet a few of you, all good lads, and everything in good spirit

 

Getting the times you were getting, your a good driver...
I was in 1st on 3 of the corners. And in 1st & 3rd at the same time on the last corner when the car stopped dead., at this point I have wrong Turbo on, (Too Big) same as you I was trying to keep it spooling, But not running the power you are, Should have the MD321T on for the next round,
I was well in 4th down the back straight,
(that straight with the left, left, right, right but no straight in it.) Fast though.

hope u get your car back soon Bez,,was a good day i got a good time in to say the old escort was poorly.Got her home after a lot of pizzing about found out that the back 2 cylinders had no fuel going to them as the needle valve was stuck closed . Sent off to burton racing for 2 new valves so should be a bit faster next time,,...

 

looked good fun in that escort i am hoping to be at the next meet 2 but had a slight off on the bike the other day an broke my collar bone so will have to see how it is 1st on the day before i enter

 

Looking forward to the 20th, should be a few more Evo's again this time, hopefully more cars all round, but not too many as likea lot of laps lol

Pity about no passengers on the practise laps, no reason why they shouldn't be really but hey ho, hoping weather is dry again, although im sure a bit of rain would make it interesting lol.
