well the last couple of cars I've looked at have proved unsuitable (or to expensive) and the cat C I was watching on ebay went for £1082, which I felt to much for a write off needing bumper/bonnet/grill/paint etc plus a VIC check.
However I'm going to look at a '99 UK turbo today, I would have preffered a WRX but beggars can't be choosers, so what are the main differences between an import WRX and the UK spec car? I know the UK cars are down on power but is it pretty straight forward to bring a UK car up to 270-80 bhp ?

Rover is provisionally sold I just need to do the wheel bearing put 12 month ticket on it and it will be going (hopefully), but if this Impreza is something like OK I'll be buying that today, going to see it at 4 this afternoon. Wife won't be to pleased with all the cars up the drive but she'll get over it!!
