Got an oil leak
The cars leaking abit....well quite alot actually.
It looks to me that its coming from the passenger side cam cover gasket but really hard to see,are these prone to go or could it be an oil pipe,or gasket or something more serious!
She runs fine and theres no dredded blue smoke, any help would be apprieciated

alright bud only way to check for sure is to look under the car but does sound like the rocker cover gasket think there about £80 mark which would be easy for you to change with doing the mr2 engine and the gaskets do go.
but could be the cam oil seals if the oil is coming for the timing belt cover? to check that you just need to take that sides cover off 5 mins job

Thanks for the reply fella,
Gonna have a proper prod around at the weekend, think its coming from the timing belt cover so could be the oil seals........easy/hard!?!
Mr2 engines and scooby engines are like chalk and cheese to me so want to be sure

Mine was smoking a while back, coming through the scoop, when i first starter her up,did a bit of investigating, and it was the rocker cover gasket, there quite prone to this,im told has a few members on other sites were experiencing the same thing, cost me £75.00 including gasket, now all sorted
but sometimes the rocker can look as if its coming from covers so best way is bobbing the passenger cover off which is 4bolts 2 top 2bottom just lift coolant expansion bottle out of the way to make it easier for access.
and look for oil on the belt etc if it has it'l be best not using it for a bit as the oil can help it jump teeth
