Hiya guys, i hate to have to post this and be the one to bring bad news, me and paul have gone to work this morning and seen the caravan has been broken in to, the only damage that has been done is the front window has been broken and the side window and all i can see that they have taken is the television.....UPTO NOW....i must stress that they will come back at some point, from our experiance...so im going to empty the van today and take everything home and put it in the garage....but then i wont be able to my car in the garage...so if some of you could PLEASE come and take what you will all need for the shows this year we would be very grateful.....Thanks guys...Debbie

hey guys, just had a call from debs, looks like there is a lot more missing from the van than initially reported, though i think we still have the generator and bbq.

now i'm gonna be stuck to do anything today, i'm on my first day back at work after being ill for a week, so i will be here for quite some time

if anyone can help out, please can you either call debs or paul, or if you don't know their numbers, drop me a pm, i'll be online for most of the day

Got home an unloaded all the gear but it took me a good hour to re arrange the garage so i could fit all the stuff in but its finally in now after a bit a jigary pokary!

I asked a mate if I could put the caravan in his yard today, he said if it was my own van he would have let me... friends and all that, but because it belongs to the WYIOC he would have to charge £1 a day ...so sorry guys I did try.

Right guys what do u want me to do with the van,scrap it,, burn it,, or what its your choice.

 

Personally I'd say do what we originally planned and get rid and get a van/large estate car or rental van on show weekends. But if its really needed, what about the pub where it was originally when Bri used it? Just a thought...

 

money is going to be the issue here, if we're looking at van/estate car then we have to buy it, maintain it, insure it etc... with this years subs, plus shows coming up, i dont think we can afford it tbh
