Question Wheel alignment

Hi all,

In the process of fitting my whiteline rear antiroll bar i noticed that the drivers side rear tyre was completely bald on the inside of the tyre, it was that bad that the corner of the tyre wasn't round it was more a chamfer. I had a good look round the suspension and it all seamed ok, couldn't feel any play in the wheel bearing either.

Does my car just need the wheel alignment checking and setting or could it be something else such as the diff, it drives good with no noises coming from anywhere. Where is the best place to get the alignment checked/setup?

Your help is much apprciated.

Dave

IMHO it is worth getting it checked out, I'm sorry I didn't notice what size tyres you are running, but I have a pair of 215/45/17 T1S Toyos, and a pair of "cheap nasty" 225/45/17 tyres in the garage, yours for a few beer tokens.

DunxC

P.S. Both have a decent amount of tread left !

P.P.S. If you can hunt down the correct figures on here, I use Kwik-Fit on Dewsbury Road in South Leeds, for a quick fix, ask for Gary

I had mine done by Stuart Tams to these settings.....

Print it off and either give Tams a call for them to visit any garage with a ramp near you, or show it to any other person for it doing, but if their eyes glaze over at the settings, walk ! These are extreme fast road figures which will make your car corner like you won't believe, and I'm talking well into 3 figures for corners where normal cars would be heading for disaster at anything over 70.
