Does anyone remember the "cruise" on armitage road in Brighouse years back? Is that still going? anything similar going on?

I remember the cruises in Brighouse, super dangerous and eventually 2 people got killed by a larry-loon mounting the kerb.

Aint my cup-of-tea thats for sure!!

Keep a lookout in this forum mate, as I said though, Jap meet next tuesday at Squires cafe bar, a few miles out from Sherburn-in-elmet

 

Yeah,he was crossing the road...literally coming over the road towards me when he got hit by a lad in a prelude racing up the road about 50 mph.
He went through the windscreen and bent the steering wheel with his head.
Was one of the worst things ive ever seen,think about a week later it all got shut down.
He was dead before the ambulance got there,that cruise was crazy...well it wasnt really a cruise just a load of frigging idiots blasting up an industrial estate road with about 200 hundred people standing on the curbs,suprised more people didnt get killed.

 

No was skiving off in the computer room lol

You're more than welcome to come along to our meets though, but if it's the the 'cruise' scene you're after then I'd check cruise type links on Google...

when i was into the "hot rod" scene the origionals cruise was spot on at burger king near the 621 in leeds... but its all a little **** up since max power took over the world....

me and the wife went on a cruse around the Caribbean a few years back but we did not like it. to many fast Americans at the dining table it was all inclusive.
