From: Slowly rebuilding the kit of bits into a car...
What a weekend...
I need some bits on my car for the re-map by JGM on bank holiday monday....
So simply replace fuel rails !
1. remove Air Con pump, impossible access to one of the bolts, so off to Halfords for ratchet spanners....
2. remove alternator...
3. remove battery and dis-connect engine loom.
4. remove IC pipework, and inlet hose to turbo.
5. remove water & boost pipes plus wiring.
6. loosen inlet manifold, then remove fuel pipe retaining bolts...
7. eventually remove inlet manifold.
8. remove metal shields.
9. remove fuel pipes, and replace with -6 AN moded parts...
Now it's 9:45 PM and time for food, bath, cider and bed !
Tomorrow it's all got to go back on somehow ! !
So if in doubt, DON'T DO IT !
LOL

Oi ! Bullet.....
Don't jump on this thread just to slag the illiteratti !
I'm proud to say I can massacre the English language all on my own-some....
Well after cider, bath, cider, sleep, dog walk, breakfast, it's time to....
1. offer inlet pipe to manifold.
2. fit wiring harness to various sensors.
3. fir inlet manifold.
4. fit air con pump and weird bracketry.
5. fit alternator
6. tighten everything and sort anodised bits....
7. assemble braided hoses for fuel system.
8. mount up-rated fuel pressure regulator.
9. decide to order two more 90 degree connectors, doh !
10. fit FMIC plumbing.
11. fit water pipes, by-pass throttle body feed and return.
12. buy some dog food !
13. whilst cooking some tea !
14. OOOOOOOW ! me aching back... time for cider, bath, cider....
LOL

P.S. I've pulled an engine out of an Imp and re-built it and re-fitted it in less time than all this ! !
P.P.S. Yes Bri lots of bits left, two huge "shields" off the fuel rails, a few brackets and bolts, fuel filter...
(P.S.)^2 Ian..... how long is a piece of string ?
Needs a full 3" system really, but i aint got another £800 to pay for one, so it'll do !
Guess 390+/370+ or 440/420
on methanol !
