Default memory stick help!!

I may be a bit thick here but I can't get it to play direct from a stick, My Daughter is doing a presentation for her job, There is a video on youtube she would like to put on the stick so it can be loaded onto a computer video projector , the ones that display on a wall etc.

Cheers in advance

Steve

You can't download from youtube mate.

The only thing you can do is save the link to the video.

You can download from YT ! On a Mac, simply go to the page in Safari (also available for PC) and open the 'Activity' window to see all the components of the webpage listed. Double-click the largest one, usually with 'get_video/video_id' in the name and it will download it to the desktop. I use an app called iSquint to convert for TV, iPod etc, but PC will need something else. There are also apps like Tubesock which download from YT. If you are struggling I can DL it, convert and possibly email it to you if you provide the link.

Steve, YHM. I've sent the smallest file at 7.1mb, but have also created an 11mb and 20mb version which are too big for my 10mb Yahoo mail limit. If you need these either call by my w*rk overnight (7pm-6am) tonight, sat or sun, or I can write them to CD and try and get them to you. Alternatively I can hand it to you at Blyton.

Or just D/L the apps suggested and DIY.

I'll run you a copy tomorrow. As above, if you want to call by my w*rk you can collect, or Blyton

Glad to be of assistance. As I said, that was the crappest quality, and up on a big projector it might show, so let me know if she needs the better ones
