The WYIOC Markee, Gayzeebo, BBQ and other paraphenalia will be making an appearance at SSO on Sunday.

I'd like to personally thank everyone who's called or PM'd me offering to help, so here goes...

There.

That was easy wasn't it.

I'm auditioning for the role of the Shopkeeper in the live version of Mr Benn next week. Reckon I've had enough practice to get the part.

And yes, this IS a rant!

...but I feel much better now!

I am as gulity as the next person this time around, but as you know I do have space issue's this weekend as I am taking some Scoobyclinic stuff and possibly wheels. This is not an excuse as your rant albeit a very polite subtle one,is one that really needs addressing.

Their is a considerable amount of stuff to go to these events and leaving this all on the shoulders of one member is a pretty poor show

We all benefit from the WYIOC stand area, and we all should show some support in not only getting the stuff to events and erecting it, but equally getting it down and back to safe a place.

Maybe we need the events organiser to add an additional field for the logistics of events, members can volunteer to take certain parts of the WYIOC paraphenalia ??

It's good to share

Just had a chat to the shop keeper and he's currently working out how many cars, with the stuff broken down will fit into...

With enough cars turning up on the Sunday morning, we can easily transport it down...

What we need to get across is that there's only a few people doing this on a regular basis and at times (especially as Sticks has a business to run) this takes it's toll. People shouldn't assume that because the stuff appears on Trackdays and meets that it's always organised, because it may have been organised at the last minute

It really does need more members to be able to make it down to setup and then be prepared to wait until the end to help take it all down... again, as this is only left to a few people... As Mick rightly says, there are 30+ members who all get the benefit from the gear and the running of the club. We aren't a clip board club with a committee.. we're all volunteers...

So volunteer....

Give me a couple of hours and I'll have an idea of how many cars are needed.

I blame the government. If I didn't have an order for 1250 no smoking signs I might have a bit more time

Do you need a F suit? Too bloody right.. get two while you're at it... make it three just in case... get a 4th in case those three don't survive.. and a 5th for a safety margin...

Thanks to everyone chipping in I love you guys..

It would be greatly appreciated if we can keep this up and I agree with Mick that we now need a helping section for all events that use the 'Markee'...

Hopefully Sticks will be posting soon about the number of cars or even the vans needed... Anyone taking stuff or helping to load (on and off) will only have to add 10 mins to their time as Stickies gaff is 5 mins from the Trading Post...

Dunno how many cars we'll need, cos the stuff's still not sorted

We'll just drag everyone up the road from the TP in the morning and take it from there
