Default Buffer and kit

Now i've got the garage nearly sorted I'm after some advice on the best buffer\polishing kit to buy... any ideas?
anyone got one cheap?

Porter Cable 7424 is well respected with detailers, and there's a Makita that's getting good feedback now too. Check out A world for detailers... for good advice. Always remember though, you only have so much paint to grind away. My Scoob after Steve did it would have stood one more gentle fettle and after that any further work would have been through the clearcote and damaging the paint.
