Default Replacing an engine

Hi folks. As some of you may know Simon_B_WRX has bought himself another Scooby and I, (Simon's dad ....... no, don't laugh, I'm not too old!) have acquired his poorly one.
Now, I've managed to get hold of an engine for it and was wondering if it's a DIY job to swap 'em over ? I don't know the first thing about Subaru's but have swapped engines in other cars before.
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.
Chris.
