Invitation to make a young man happy
One of the guys from the HullScoobs gang (Scrappy) was approached by a bloke he works with, asking when the next Scooby meet was due. Apparently the bloke explained that his neighbour's son has Autism and is a massive Subaru fan, it takes his Mum an extra 20 mins to get him to school as he knows where all the Scoobs in his local area are and she has to stop so he can look at them. The young lad is only 9yrs old, is also partially deaf and is due to go into hospital on 18th December for bowel & stomach surgery.
We currently have a list of 23 cars which are due to meet at The Ketch Pub in Willerby (near Hull, aprox 2 miles from where you normally meet us) on Sunday 17th December, meeting there at 1300hrs. If anyone is free and available to join us they'd be more than welcome. The Hull Daily Mail will be running a story on this for the lad.
Following the meet at The Ketch, some are going on to Whitby for a final run out this year.
Thanks in anticipation

Great news that some of you can make it, Michaels mum will "just happen" to be in the car park at 1330ish, Michael will know nothing about this.

I will be their can meet you Bri,Scott at TP i know were the Ketch pub is let me know before 11.30am tomorrow as i am off line until the 20th after that.

Hi Stu/Semo,,,,if i don't get too messed up on Sat night i'll be along ,might after get other half to drive though....
I'm probally better driver still half cut than she is sober.....

Well this week he can walk his sorry **** home....
and to think i was gonna clean Scooby ready for him on sunday now he can go *****

B*gger, was coming tomorrow, but boss in Carribean and collegue off sick today.... So I'm now working 16 days in a row till Xmas day...... Sorry guys, I really wanted to go thro' to my old home town. BUT.
P.S. At least the re-map is ever closer now, 1+1/2 today and double time on Sunday !

Panic over ......He's home
Got a call at 1000pm "Need to come home love can you ring me a taxi", that old chestnut....got dressed picked him up,,,"starving Love" queued at KFC for him for 20 mins,
Listens to his version of Have i told you lately that I love you !!! gets him home puts his tea out, HE FALLS A SLEEP....
undressed him, stole the rest of his cash out of his pockets (he'll think hes spent it, he normally does) fed him 4 ibuprofen and a pint of water....now hes sparko
