I haven't mate... yet.

I don't think the SSCP is for me. I believe the CISSP is THE starting point and anything else would be a waste of time and money for someone of your ability and experience.. I've got CISSP course materials already (£1500 worth) and a load of prep questions... all you have to pay for is the £400 exam... give me a call if you want to go this route....3-4 months of study and then the exam..

TBH.. the SANS GIAC is probably more down our technical route as it focusses on specialised areas such as pentests & Internet hardening etc.... but that's a step up from CISSP and is less known outside the normal circles. If a GIAC certified person came to me for a job, I'd give it to that person over a CISSP qualified one...

Done some reading on SANS GIAC, exams, and the top exams are supposed to be the holy grail and to put it mildly difficult......
think i might do a basic security + exam first just to get start in some security stuff... ps i have the ccna stuff for you... so you'll have to pop around for a coffee to discuss... some study stuff.

Nothing on GIAC
