locking wheel nut woes
ive only had my scoob a few months and decided to swop my tyres back to front as there wearing on front abit and need to save a bit of money to get some new .
so i gets started and realise there made of mild steel and starting to go rusty so as a precaution i sprayed some lubricant on them then proceeded to undo but to my amazement they decided to completly sheer away the holes and bend the pins on the nut key "b*****s" so now im totally gutted and thinking what if i get a puncture , so i went to halfords in wakey and got some new nuts and went to the aa garage joined on to it to ask what they could do to get em off and the bloke said to me in a cocky way "ull need an engineer to get them undone" , now im thinking how much is this gonna cost me .
anyway he gives me a number for a bloke who specialises in doing this job and i rang him straight away , he met me in 30 mins outside builders supply in wakefield and took only about 15 mins for the lot and charged me 30 quid which is alot cheaper than i thought would be he used a tool which he designed himself and he didnt need to pull on a bar to get em off he just whacked the end of the tool with a hammer and it gradually got em off i was quite impressed with it all we had a chat about the car and we both drove off
heres his number 07808687584 if any one has a similar prob , i think hes called dave he got me out of a mess in quick time and am well chuffed i can get on with driving without the worry and he didnt mark the alloys

Sounds like a decent chap. It makes a change to find someone who doesn't want to rip the **** out of your wallet for providing an essential service.
