Extraordinary Club Meeting - Main meet night @ Foxglove Conference Room - 8PM
Now that last week's festivities are over, we're looking to have an ECM at this months main meet on the 27th. I've chosen this date so as not to add another to a packed month and to hopefully get as many people as possible.
I've yet to confirm that we can have the room with Sam / Chris, but I'll confirm nearer the time. We will look to kick this off at 8pm sharp and be no longer than an hour.
Intro
As we are all acutely aware, the club has grown beyond the intial vision and now needs a little TLC, management, guidance and shared understanding of what the club is, what it wants to be and how we're going to get there.
As we're the better for not being a clipboard club, I think it best to stick to that strategy and take the evening as it comes, however we need to have it in proper uninterupted surroundings and have an agenda to discuss through.
All current or prospective club members are welcome to attend as everyone has a voice and all are welcomed to propose discussion points and have their say.
The Meeting
Can I ask that if you do have a specific topic or discussion point, that you PM me please and don't post directly on here as we'll end up with a multi-threaded discussion on what we're going to meet about...
I will share the completed Agenda on here prior to the meeting and I'll share it with Mick, Sticky & Dave who I'm looking to help as 'committee' members. If you wish to get directly involved, just let me know, we'll be happy to have the extra hands....
For some ideas I'll be looking to go through / raise the following;
1. Quick intro of why we're having the meeting. Q&A
2. Current event organisation & funding. Q&A
3. Current direction & what we want the club to be. Q&A
4. How do we get there? Q&A
5. AOB.
6. Q&A and general discussion
7. Beer / shandy and food
We will have Q&A after each point, to aid understanding and acceptance, before moving to the next point.
Even if this just confirms that we're all doing the right thing, then that will be enough.
