Tinting windows
Afternoon all.... Does anyone have any experience of having their windows tinted?
Am interested in experiences and recommendations for getting my rear window and rear passenger windows tinted.
Thanks in advance

Ive had all my windows tinted on my wrx import via autotint... cost me 200.00 and he did a really good job...
one thing i would grumble at is the classic scratch on the passenger or driver window cuz of the rubbers but this has been sorted... i got 20% on side windows and my back windowscreen is 40%. i reckon it looks good... Ive been pulled my the police and the tints never been mentioned....

I would have reccomended Sticky (who is by far the best graphics guy I know), but he doesn't do tinting.
Not helpful I know, but this will probably stop anyone else posting a reccomendation for Sticky

Claire,
I recently had mine done all round on my WR Blue 03 (Blobeye) WRX. I had them done on a Mini Copper S before this and got them done with the same guy who I can highly recommend. I've seen some awful jobs that don't go all the way to the window edge, but these do. He cuts the edge right on the bevel of the glass with a razor, but it's so good you'd be pushed to say it was film.
Mine are done so that the fronts are fully legal (light tint) and the rear sides and the back window slightly darker so they all blend in. It makes a massive difference in the summer and makes you feel cosy in the winter. I wear glasses too, so swapping from sunglasses to normal glasses when I'm driving gets on my nerves and the tints save me having to do that. It's also great at junctions when the suns in your eyes and you don't have to shield your eyes to see. When combined with the aircon it keeps the car much cooler too.
The guy is based in Herne Bay. It cost me £220 all in and took from around 9am until 3pm.
If you'd like his name and number (or if anyone else would for that matter!), send me a pm. I am not connected in any way other than being a happy customer.
Cheers,
Nige.

I do tinting and for your rear 3 it would be £140. For me a car that is tinted correctly looks classy but make sure film is good quality i.e like mine has a lifetime warrenty so isn't going to discolour in a few years or peel.
hope this helps if you need anymore info just send me a pm

Are you a WYIOC member? And if not, why not?
(Then we can negotiate a club discount )
Interested in having my rears done, any chance for this week? Any time to suit you.
I'm always getting asked to do this, so I could do with a contact that does a good job.
