Wanted: Deputy Treasurer.
A fantastic oppurtunity to take on one of the clubs most demanding, yet rewarding jobs.
You will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for handling large sums of club money. This can sometimes exceed £100. You will also be responsibe for taking hard earned £10's off fellow members and trusted with its safe keeping, storage and transfer to the WYIOC vault.
For all this responsibility & trust you will earn the competative & market rate of £0. Tangible benefits include being PM'd to ensure the safe transfer of funds to industry.
Soft benefits include the kudos and 'fanny magnet' points that such a position of standing brings.
If you are a reliable, trutworthy character and have direct experience of working in finance (collecting dinner money or even managing your pocket money) and are a dedicated WYIOC club member who knows the WYIOC Theme tune, then please make it known here and a member of the WYIOC HR team will contact you to arrange a meeting, 2 hour interview and a 6 hour performance, leadership and analysis test.
Your IQ will also be registered. This must not fall below the mandatory 200 limit that current committee members hold.
CEO, Chairman of the Board, Brummie & Honorary Yorkshireman.
Al.

I would offer but don't want to be a "fanny magnet"!!!
Plus I'm selling the scoob so not sure if I'd still fulfill the criteria of ownership!!
But seeing as my job is in finance if you need assistance I will be happy to oblige.

^ Typical Chris.
Nothing for 6 months then he comes on with ANOTHER pseudonym.
I'd do it, but I'd spend it all on beer, stickers and mods

In the first I appear to have been a little un-PC. Though not wanting to attract the attention, I'm sure there are some lesbians around who may disagree and the candidate does have all the proper credentials (minus the car). A fine canidate who's missing a few vital mandates... But shows promise.
The second is no good as it also appears to miss the mark by calling Miss Speedy a 'lady' in quotes.. Bit like saying the gorgeous Miss Speedy has just come from the set of little Britain... Rejected for being more un-PC than me.
The third is probably the best. Open, honest and I know where I stand (and deliver). Also the applicant has a gun. Good news for keeping people of our loot. awaiting better candidates.
The fourth is also Open and honest. But whereas the highway man may make the WYIOC coffers bigger by nicking money from elsewhere, this 4th candidate openly states that it will be spent on beer, stickers and mods.. Rejected as there's no mention of wine, women and a casino...
Fifth. A simple freeloader trying to copy another applicants paper.. tut, tut. Rejected by the 'never hire unlucky people, throw half the applications unopened into the bin' principle - David Brent.

Someone has stepped forward who knows me very well and is someone I can trust implicitly.... katrina!
For accountability & separation of duties, Chris will remain the treasurer, but Katrina will help out when needed. Main reason is that I'm trying to get the website back up and I'm having to make payments from my own account and somehow get the money back... This way I can make it direct from the WYIOC account and have proper financial control...
Plus it's much easier to pay Dave or Sticky direct for services rendered for trackday stuff or stickers etc....
Plus, if Chris isn't at a meeting, then I can take the subs and get them into the account quickly...It aslo means I don't have to bother Chris unduly when he's working...
Please let me know if you have a problem with this arrangement.. But to re-iterate, Chris will remain treasurer... Katrina will have account details to make and take payments...
Thanks you to Miss Speedy for coming forward... I'll be happy to put you, Chris and katrina in touch if there's any help you can give in the accounts area...

Hmm, sounds dodgy to me. 'All eggs in one basket' springs to mind.
You planning on leaving the country anytime soon?
Chris managed to purchase a nice little villa on the strength of just a couple of years' subs, I'm thinking you've seen an opportunity to expand the Cook empire and you're grabbing it with both hands.
Oh, sod it. Go on then

Other thing going against my favour is that my other half has just asked me to move in with him so that also means I will be a traitor and moving to South Yorkshire!
