HAVE TO GIVE IT A MISS

I read your earlier post. Sorry to hear it! Something tells me you are not the first person to have an engine let go after a decat. Sure I have read a couple of other posts approx. a year ago with the same situation.
Scooby ownership sucks some times! Look on teh bright side though... for little more than a 2.0 you can now get a 2.5 bottom end!

I've just paid thousands getting my old girl back on the road from some crank leading to big end failure "issues" (and it still isn't 100% yet!!), so i can feel your pain.
It's times like these thag test our commitment to the Subaru badge
Hope it all goes well,

Looks like the clinic did a good job of nobbling your motor on my behalf, that'll teach ya to post horrible facts about me in muppets
I seem to remember someone saying something about not being bothered with a 2.5 but it was Wednesday, and we'd both had a few, so I could be wrong
Sorry to hear about the bottm end, but every cloud has a silver bottom end, etc.
Just make sure you get there on Sunday, who else's gonna drink all the beer?

Gotta be the bike, I'm not walking all that way.
(PLEASE don't offer a lift in the back of the Tatey, you'd arrive to find all the beer and food gone )

Stacked it three times on a 25 mile ride last night.
Once was the (all too) regular SPuD event, which is rapidly becoming known as 'doing a Sticky'
The other two were 20mph plus full on b*****d painful 'front wheel in a rut' efforts, the first of which resulted in a short game of 'Find Sticky in the gorse bush'
I'm still pulling thorns out of my ar(m)se
Suddenly, the thought of becoming an out and out Stiffback looks rather attractive :

I take it that was your blue beeeest parked outside the post office / costcutter / offy at about 5pm. Stocking up for the night? No wonder you need a pick-up
